Awakening

Awakening:  

1. rousing; quickening

2. the act of awaking from sleep.

3. a revival of interest or attention.

4. a recognition, realization, or coming into awareness of something

 

This is what the Gauntlet 2011 was all about.  Waking up and becoming passionate for Jesus.  Waking up and realizing we need to tell people about Jesus.  Waking up and realizing that our family and friends that don't know Jesus will miss out on a life of incredible joy and purpose and will spend eternity separated from Him if we don't tell them.  But the best part about this awakening is that it took place in the lives of 1500 teenagers from NewSpring Church in a week at Daytona Beach.  These pictures are just a small glimpse of the incredible worship, quiet time with the Lord, baptism, beauty, and fun that we experienced this week.
