Day 10: Groundhogs and Shadows and Winter, Oh My!

Happy Groundhog Day!  Yes friends, it's that most useless of recognized days in America, Groundhog Day.  And although it doesn't mean much in the way of actual weather prediction, it did give me some inspiration for my picture of the day.  Like Punxsutawney (I think I spelled that right) Phil, I too saw my shadow today!  But, unlike the famous rodent, I was not scared of it.  In fact, I decided to be friendly and wave at my shadow.  But, since I am no weather predictor, I suppose we'll trust the expert on his prediction of 6 more weeks of winter.  Perhaps this year what he actually meant was that winter will start after today!
