Day 9: Happy Signing Day

Ok, so today is not technically day 9, but I didn't have time to post yesterday due to various obligations.  But today is a special day and I am honoring it Picture of the Day style.  Today is college football signing day!  The day that all avid college football fans look forward to from the moment the national championship game is over.  It is the day that high school recruits commit to what school they will attend and for South Carolina Gamecock fans, this signing day was a pretty good one.  Today marked the 4th year in a row USC has had South Carolina's Mr. Football sign as a commitment.  This year Mr. Football was Shaq Roland of Lexington High School (where my husband happens to be on the football coaching staff).  So it's a proud day for Lexington, USC, and college football in general.  Now we just have to be patient and look forward to the spring game!  In the meantime, there is baseball to distract us, but that still doesn't get started for another couple of weeks so I guess we have to settle for basketball...

This is a picture I took about a year ago when my husband had the opportunity to play flag football in Williams-Brice Stadium.  Yes, it was pretty awesome.
