First Holiday!

This week's post is from Levi's first holiday weekend: Independence Day!  Even though he wasn't quite a month old, Levi had a great time at our cookout and shooting fireworks!  You're never too young to learn the joys of grilling hamburgers and blowing things up!

Levi had so much fun celebrating the 4th of July!  We had a great time spending the day at Grandma Kim's and Papa Rick's house.  We grilled out hotdogs and hamburgers (naturally) and watched as Daddy and Aunt Liz shot fireworks in the backyard (don't worry, it was safe).  Saturday we had a celebration at church which Levi pretty much slept through.  We watched a lawnmower race, ate some yummy food, and got to watch really big fireworks from Papa Rick's lap.  Today is his second week at church.  I'm hoping to try to check him in to Wonder Way (the nursery) next week so I can attend service in the auditorium.  Not sure if I'm ready to leave him with strangers though!!
